County: Individual allegedly flips ATV while under the influence

An individual allegedly flipped an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) while under the influence, according to a report.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that on Tuesday (March 12), officers responded to a personal injury accident on Stockton Road in the town of Cuyler.

According to the report, Adam J. Capria, 39, of LaFayette, was driving while intoxicated, causing his ATV to overturn. Capria was arrested and charged with a DWI (misdemeanor), and for speed not reasonable and prudent, an unregistered and uninspected motor vehicle, operating without insurance and for unsafe starting (all infractions).

Capria was arraigned, released and is now due to appear in Cuyler town court on March 25.
