Your Cortland County weather forecast for Saturday, March 16, 2024:

The daytime hours today will be quiet, but a cold front will move through during the night.

Skies will be quite cloudy today, but a little sun may poke out from time to time.

Outside of a stray flurry early this morning, the daytime hours should remain dry.

Winds will turn to the southwest out ahead of tonight’s cold front. Wind speeds will build up to around 10 mph by the afternoon.

These winds will bump temperatures up slightly and it will be about five degrees warmer today than it was yesterday. Most of the county should at least reach 50 degrees, with many areas rising above by a couple of degrees.

Rain will move in by the mid-evening hours and will continue as off an on showers through the night. Scattered showers will continue into Sunday morning.

Evening temperatures will drop to the mid 40s with overnight lows in the upper 30s.

Tuesday: Cloudy with some snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Breezy with snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
