The first day of May will be quiet as high pressure slowly builds into the region.

The morning will be cloudy behind yesterday’s cold front. There may even be a stray shower, some drizzle, or a little patchy fog early on.

Gradually, the sun will start to poke holes in the overcast and will increase through the afternoon. No additional rain is expected.

Winds will be light and variable, if not completely calm at times.

Temperatures will be mild, but not quite as warm as the last couple of days. Look for highs mainly in the upper 60s with some higher elevations staying in the mid 60s.

Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with a few clear periods. Winds will remain nearly calm.

Evening temperatures will fall back into the 50s with an overnight low just near or just above 50 degrees.

Sunday: Morning clouds and maybe a shower. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
