The Homer Trojans hosted a double dual meet against county rival Cortland (Purple Tigers) as well as ITC Syracuse Wednesday evening.

This was Homer’s last home meet of the season.

“The weather was warm and sunny with temperatures in the upper 60s,” stated Homer head coach George Schneider. “The nice conditions led to more solid performances.”

Homer Boys

Homer’s 4x800 meter relay team (Kyler Crump, Aiden Small, Liam O'Brien & Damian Brown) placed 2nd with an official time of 10:27.8
Oliver Kida won 1st place in the pole vault event (Result - 9’6”). He also came in 2nd place in the 110 meter high hurdles (Time - 16.9) and the 400 meter hurdles (Time - 65.0)
Donavin Brown won 1st place in the 1,600 meter run (Time - 5:16.7) and in the 3,200 meter run (Time - 11:51.4). He also placed 3rd in the 110 meter high hurdles (Time - 19.0)
Aiden Small finished in 3rd place in the 1,600 meter run (Time - 5:48.2) and in the 800 meter run (Time - 2:39.1)
Tristyn Henkel placed 3rd in the 400 meter run (Time - 58.6)
Garrett Berthelot came in 2nd place in the 800 meter run (Time - 2:35.6)
Nicholas Costa came in 3rd place in the 200 meter dash (Time - 25.2)
Liam O'Brien placed 2nd in the 3,200 meter run (Time - 12:06.0) and the pole vault event (Result - 7’6”)

Tasker Dennis came in 2nd place in the shot put (Result - 38’8.5”) and in the discus throw event (Result - 144’5”)
Logan Griffin placed 3rd in the shot put event (Result - 37’5.75”) and in the discus throw event (Result - 119’5”)

Ingrid Aagaard won 1st place in the 400 meter run (Time - 64.5) and the 3,000 meter run (Time - 11:56.4). She also placed 3rd in the 100 meter dash (Time - 13.5)
Molly McMasters won 1st place in the shot put (Result - 30’7.25”) and the discus throw (Result - 87’5”)
Alyssa Swayze won 1st place in the 1,500 meter run (Time - 5:59.4). She also came in 2nd place in the 3,000 meter run (Time - 13:44.2)
Mia Knight won 1st place in the 800 meter run (Time - 2:52.5). She also placed 2nd in the 1,500 meter run (Time - 6:01.9).
Lauren Franco won the 400 meter hurdles (Time - 78.7)

Iniko Abani won 1st place in the 110 meter high hurdles (Time - 16.4) and in the high jump event (Result - 6’0”)
Spenser Dodds came in 2nd place in the 1,600 meter run (Time - 5:27.7)

Isabella Sisting won 1st placed in the 200 meter dash (Time - 28.3). She also placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash (Time - 13.3) and 3rd place in the pole vault event (Result - 6’6”)
