Work from construction crews will lead to water service disruptions on a street in the city of Cortland.

According to Crown City Rising, there will be water service disruptions on Court Street between Main Street and Church Street on Monday (May 6). Properties on the north side of Court Street will be impacted by the disruptions.

Crews with CCI Companies are continuing the installation of storm drainage on Court Street. Due to this work, there will be no parking on the north side of Court Street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Court Street will remain open with alternating lane closure, and parking is available on the south side of the street.

Crown City Rising also noted that work for the Groton Avenue Public Improvement Project continues with the installation of the water main past the intersection of Pleasant Street towards Otter Creek Place. Crews will also install storm drainage in the area.

The update stated that Groton Avenue between Pleasant Street and Homer Avenue is open, but the other side of the intersection on Groton Avenue is closed.
