The weather will remain unsettled today but will not be as persistently rainy as yesterday.

In fact, the morning hours may end up mostly dry. There may be some patchy fog early on, and perhaps a bit of mist of drizzle. Much of the afternoon will be quiet though, albeit rather cloudy.

The chances for rain will increase during the midday and afternoon hours as scattered showers begin to pop up.

There is a chance that some areas may dodge the showers until late in the afternoon. There is also a chance that one or two areas may hear a few rumbles of thunder or even see some small hail.

Winds will be light from the south with speeds near or slightly above 5 mph most of the day.

The wind will help give temperatures a slight boost over yesterday with highs making it into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

Rain showers will increase this evening and continue through the overnight. Steadier rain may fall at times.

Evening temperatures will slowly drop through the 50s on the way to an overnight low in the mid 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Morning clouds and showers… diminishing showers in the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Monday: Scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Tuesday: Periods of rain. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
