Sheriff’s Blotter: False identity, larceny and more

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office provided some recent arrest reports that can be seen below:

Grady L. Mabry

Mabry, 60, of McGraw, was arrested on Sunday (May 12).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Mabry “provided a false identity” in an attempt to avoid being arrested on an active warrant.

Mabry was arrested on the warrant and charged with false personation (a misdemeanor). Mabry was arraigned, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on June 3.

Latia N. Telfair

Telfair, 42, of Dryden, was arrested on Friday (May 10).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Telfair allegedly stole merchandise from the Walmart store in Cortlandville.

Telfair was charged with petit larceny – a misdemeanor. Telfair was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on June 3.
