A slow moving low pressure system will meander across the Mid-Atlantic region today, spreading some occasional showers north into our area.

The morning will have a higher chance for rain than the afternoon, but showers will be possible at almost any time today.

The rain that falls will be light and showery. Sometimes, it may only be drizzling.

Clouds will remain for most of the day, though a break of afternoon sun cannot be ruled out.

Only a few stray showers will linger into the evening and overnight hours. Most of the night should be dry.

Light south winds will blow early on in the day before becoming light and variable during the afternoon and through the overnight.

Temperatures will rise to the mid and upper 60s this afternoon, then drop back to around 60 degrees this evening. Overnight lows will be in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with some scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Maybe an early shower. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
