A weak area of high pressure will be over the region today with no low pressure systems anywhere nearby.

There may be some areas of fog this morning, but they should burn off before too long. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds for most of the rest of the day.

A stray spit of rain cannot be ruled out. These will be most likely from the late morning through the mid afternoon. Most areas will not see rain, and many that do will not even see enough to totally wet the pavement.

Clouds will diminish late in the afternoon and skies will be mostly clear this evening and overnight. Again, a few areas of patchy fog may develop.

Winds will be nearly calm throughout the day with speeds under 5 mph and variable wind directions.

It will be a mild day with highs up into the mid 70s. Evening temperatures will drop back through the 60s and overnight lows will settle in the mid 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs near 80.

Tuesday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Evening showers and storms possible. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Thursday: Some morning showers, then some afternoon sun. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
