Communities to vote on school budgets, BOE candidates Tuesday; what you need to know inside

Local communities will have an opportunity to vote on proposed school budgets and propositions on Tuesday (May 21).

Below is information on each of the school districts in Cortland County.

Cortland Enlarged City School District

Voting Location and Time: Kaufman Center, 1 Valley View Dr. in Cortland; Noon to 9 p.m.

Board of Education Candidates: Brett Barnes, Christine Gregory and Sherlyn Pallassino. 

Homer Central School District

Voting Location and Time: Homer Training and Education Center; 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Board of Education Candidates (Running for 3 open seats): John Dean, Kevin Mack, Stacy Petri, KC Slade and Emily Olsenwik.

McGraw Central School District

Voting Location and Time: McGraw High School; Noon to 8 p.m

Budget Information: McGraw School District presents proposed budget; increased spending by almost 2%; Further information is here.

Board of Education Candidates (Running for 3 open seats): Cheryl Kenyon, Justin Baker, Megan Johnson, Glenn Doran and Michael Barylski.

Marathon Central School District

Voting Location and Time: Marathon CSD junior/senior high school in room 107 (CSE Office); Noon to 8 p.m.

Cincinnatus Central School District

Voting Location and Time: Cincinnatus CSD’s large gymnasium foyer; Noon to 8 p.m.
