Low pressure hanging around eastern Canada will begin to pull cooler air down into our region.

Winds will gradually shift from a west-southwest direction to a northwest direction over the course of the day today. While not quite as strong as yesterday, the wind will be blustery at times.

Expect wind speeds around 10 mph with gusts of 25-30 mph.

Afternoon highs will stick mainly to the upper 60s.

Scattered rain showers will be possible at any time today, but the afternoon will have more widespread rain than the morning.

A few thunderstorms will also be possible, with occasional lightning, heavy downpours, and maybe even some small hail.

The coverage and intensity of the shower will diminish this evening, but a few lingering showers and brief downpours will be possible.
