Sheriff: Man arrested for refusing to leave county building

A man was arrested on Friday (May 24) after he refused to leave a Cortland County building, according to a report.

The county sheriff’s report stated that officers were assigned to security at the county office building in Cortland.

According to the report, Sibrunson Rosier, 24, of Marathon, was acting “in a disruptive manner” while in the county office building. Officers told Rosier to leave, but the report stated that he refused to leave.

Rosier was arrested and charged with trespassing, a violation. He was released and issued an appearance ticket for Cortland city court on Monday (June 3).
