High pressure will be in control of the weather today.

Temperatures will take some time to rebound from the cold start and will still be a touch below average for the end of May.

Look for afternoon highs in the upper 60s in lower elevations and mid 60s in the hills.

Skies will be mostly sunny. Only some thin clouds and a couple small fair weather clouds will pass through from time to time. No rain will fall.

Winds will be from the northwest again today, but lighter than yesterday. Wind speeds will be just above 5 mph with gusts just over 20 mph.

A light southwest wind will develop tonight which should take a bit of the edge off the cold temperatures. It will still be chilly, just not quite as much so as this morning.

Evening temperatures will steadily drop through the 50s and overnight lows will be in the low and mid 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Some sun filtered through increasing clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Sunday: Periods of rain possible. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs around 70.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs near 80.
