Today’s weather will not look too different than yesterday’s, but it will be notably warmer.

Skies will be a mix of clouds and some sun. The cloud cover will likely vary throughout the day, favoring thin clouds in the morning and fair weather clouds in the afternoon.

There will be a very small chance for a brief afternoon shower. Most areas will not see any rain. Those that do happen upon a spit of rain will see just a couple minutes of rain.

A light south wind will blow today with speeds no higher than 5 mph. Top gusts will only be around 15 mph.

Light though it may be, that southerly wind will be enough to give temperatures and dewpoints a boost.

Afternoon highs should make it into the mid 80s for much of the county. Higher elevations will be in the low 80s. Dewpoints will climb to around 60 degrees.

Partly cloudy skies are expected tonight with south winds increasing further. It will remain warm and a touch muggy with evening temperatures falling through the 70s and an overnight low around 60 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Scattered afternoon showers and storms. Morning lows around 60 degrees. Afternoon highs around 80 degrees.
