A cold front will slowly approach the region today but will most likely not bring any rain to the area before sunset.

Thin clouds out ahead of the front will build in this morning, gradually getting thicker in the afternoon. Fair weather clouds will also mix in during the afternoon.

There is a small chance for a stray shower or storm late in the afternoon, but most of the daytime activity will be well to the west.

Rain chances will increase this evening and overnight. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible, along with some localized downpours.

Afternoon highs will be in the low and mid 80s once again today. Dewpoints will be in the low and mid 60s, making it feel muggy, especially after sunset.

Evening temperatures will stick to the 70s with an overnight low in the mid 60s.

The cold front will arrive near dawn tomorrow with an uptick in rain.

Thursday: Occasional showers. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Saturday: Scattered showers. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 60s.

Sunday: Numerous showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
