Most of the day will end up dry today after an early morning system departs the region.

Steady rain will taper to showers early this morning and most of the rain should be over by the mid-morning hours. In fact, some sun should start poking out between clouds before noon.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon. There will be a chance for a stray shower or even a couple rumbles of thunder. Most areas will probably not see additional rain.

The best chance for these showers will be between about 4 PM and 10 PM.

Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy overnight.

It will again be a bit blustery today with northwest winds of 10-15 mph. Top gusts will be in the 30-35 mph range.

Temperatures will remain suppressed with highs in the mid 60s and a few upper 60s. Evening temperatures will not take long to drop into the 50s and overnight lows should end up in the upper 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Cloudy with some drizzle or light rain showers. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the low and mid 60s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a few spits of rain. A little late sun. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
