Temperatures will get a notable boost today thanks to sunshine and southwest winds.

The sunshine will mix with a variety of clouds through the day. During the morning, mainly thin clouds higher in the atmosphere will be around. In the afternoon, fair weather clouds will take over.

Throughout the day, there will be plenty of sunshine despite the presence of these clouds. No rain is expected.

Southwest winds will increase to around 10 mph by the afternoon. A few gusts over 20 mph are expected.

Afternoon highs will jump into the low and even mid 80s. Humidity levels will remain low with dewpoints sticking to the 50s.

Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy to mostly clear at times early on. The clouds will increase after midnight and there may even be a couple stray showers before sunrise.

Friday: A few morning showers, and perhaps a pop-up afternoon shower as well. A few breaks of sun. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs around 70.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Turning hot. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 80s.
