The Cortland Youth Bureau recently announced that Wickwire Pool identification cards will only be printed at its office on Port Watson Street.
According to CYB’s Facebook page, the decision was made “in order to avoid long lines” and give people “the smoothest experience possible.”
CYB’s post noted that from opening day on June 22 to July 1, people who are registered will still be allowed access into Wickwire Pool without an ID card. After July 1, the post continued, an ID card is required to enter the pool area.
The CYB office at 35 Port Watson Street is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To register for a pool ID card, go to the CYB website, click pool memberships and enroll.
