A cold front will move through the area today with showers and a few thunderstorms.

Rain will especially be likely at times this morning. A few rumbles of thunder and some brief downpours will also be possible.

The rain may taper off for a time during the later morning hours before some additional showers and storms will be possible during the midday hours.

As the afternoon goes on, rain chances will drop with just a few isolated, brief showers possible. Sunshine should increase during the afternoon as well.

The front should move through during the middle of the day, taking winds from the southwest in the morning to the northwest for the afternoon. Wind speeds will be 5-10 mph.

Temperatures will rise slowly from a warm start this morning, then rise a bit more during the afternoon. Highs should end up in the mid 70s.

Skies will clear tonight, and temperatures will drop through the 60s in the evening. Overnight lows will end up in the mid 50s.

Tuesday: Possibly some morning rain or thunder. More sun and hotter in the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs around 90 degrees.
