Low pressure will pull out of the area today, leading to some gradually improving weather conditions.

Throughout the morning and early afternoon, skies will be cloudy with occasional showers and drizzle.

These will start to dissipate and become much more isolated as the afternoon goes on. The last of the showers should depart by the late afternoon.

Some sun will start to mix in during this afternoon transition period as well. By the evening, skies will be mostly clear and will remain as such through the overnight.

With the clouds and showers, temperatures will be much cooler than they have been lately. Most parts of the county will probably not even reach 70 degrees.

Dewpoints will be much lower as well, mainly residing in the 50s.

Northwest winds will be strong with speeds up to 20 mph and gusts as high as 40 mph. The wind will drop off substantially as the sun sets.

Overnight lows will drop to the mid 50s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Some afternoon thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low and mid 80s.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Thursday: Maybe an early shower. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Friday: Sunny with some thin clouds late. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
