A quiet, pleasant day is ahead though temperatures will be on the rise once more.

Sunny skies early this morning will slowly mix with thin clouds. These clouds will gradually increase and thicken, and skies may end up mostly cloudy by the end of the day.

The cool, blustery winds of yesterday will be replaced by a steady, gentler wind from the southwest. Wind speeds will be around 10 mph with gusts around 25 mph.

These winds will push warmer air back into the area with highs in the low and mid 80s.

However, the humidity will not be back yet, with dewpoints sticking to the 50s.

There will be a chance for a few showers this evening and overnight as a warm front moves through. A few rumbles of thunder cannot be totally ruled out either.

Evening temperatures will back into the low 70s with an overnight low in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers and storms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the low and mid 80s.

Thursday: Maybe an early shower. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Friday: Sunny with some thin clouds late. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Scattered showers and storms. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
