Local law enforcement to participate in 4th of July STOP-DWI campaign (press release)

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and Cortland County Police Agencies are participating in the New York STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign, which is one of many statewide initiatives promoted by STOP-DWI NY and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.

The Statewide STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign targets St. Patrick’s Day, 420 Drug Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Holiday Season and Super Bowl Weekend.

Highly visible, highly publicized efforts like the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign aim to further reduce the dangers of drunk and impaired driving.
