An Ithaca man was indicted in Tompkins County Court on Thursday morning for allegedly burglarizing the home of his wife.

The burglaries at Tikki's Adult Boutique, located at the corner of the Groton Avenue Shopping Plaza, occurred between Nov. 19 and Dec. 30.

Surveillance footage shows a person wearing an orange mask pacing in front of the business.

On Thurs., Dec. 8, a residence on Riverview Avenue in the city was broken into during the daytime.

Arriving officers found that the homeowner had detained the suspect as he tried to escape from a window, authorities said.

The white male suspect appears to be in his 20's, approximately 6 feet tall and heavyset.

Judge Julie Campbell said she was willing to impose a lenient sentence on Artis Young given his "minimal contact with the criminal justice system."

Items taken in the burglary included electronic equipment, personal documents and a small amount of cash.

A Cortland man has been charged in connection with a burglary that was reported in the village of Homer late last month.
