CORTLAND, N.Y. – The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for central New York through early Monday morning.
The watch includes Cortland, Tompkins, Chenango and Broome counties.
Meanwhile, a flash flood warning is in effect in Tompkins County until 7:45 p.m.

Doppler radar from The National Weather Service shows storms moving east across Central New York.
Rainfall may exceed 1 inch per hour at times.
Depending on the path of the storms, the watch could be upgraded to a warning.
