Police: Man found with LSD, pills after traffic stop in Cortlandville

CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. – A western New York man was arrested Thursday after he was found with drugs in his vehicle, according to state police.

Christopher E. Zielinski, 24, was pulled over at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday after he was clocked for speeding on I-81 in the town of Cortlandville, troopers said.

After smelling marijuana in the car, troopers searched Zielinski's vehicle and found LSD, hashish oil and Adderall pills for which he did not have a prescription, according to police.

Zielinski was arrested on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

He was arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court and scheduled for a return date of Monday, Aug. 17.
