CORTLAND, N.Y. — The City of Cortland Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who is suspected of stealing a wallet from a vehicle parked on Main Street.

Police released surveillance photos Wednesday obtained from a nearby business that appears to show the man using the wallet to purchase items at a store.
The man allegedly took the wallet from a vehicle that was parked at Zoom Tan at 64 North Main Street, police said.
