Cortland First Friday: Free music lessons, wearable art

The following is a republished press release and not an article written by The Cortland Voice...to submit a press release, community announcement or information about an upcoming event, email Editor Peter Blanchard at [email protected].

Did you know Cortland First Fridays happens every month, and it's free? The hardworking artists and musicians of Cortland exhibit their work and perform each month for you!

Give First Fridays a try tomorrow night. Even if you come down for the Downtown Music Series, try popping in one of our venues (see below) to check out some art!

Cortland LGBT Resource Center is offering free music/voice lessons. Various instruments and music will be available for people to practice old skills, or learn a new one! This is a perfect opportunity for kids who don't know if they're interested in playing an instrument or singing, or to see if adding music lessons could really help them grow - so bring the whole family to find and hone in those hidden talents!

Cinch will be featuring wearable art tomorrow night, highlighting Bonseye Designs, Diana Trifoso Designs & Sugar Coat Couture.

The Local Food Market will have the Cultural Council's Lifetime Achievement Collection, as well as live music by The Local Farmer's Union from 6-7!
