Two Cortland men charged in April burglary

CORTLAND, N.Y. — Authorities have filed charges against two Cortland residents in connection with an April burglary in the town of Homer.

On April 14, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff's Office were called to investigate a burglary at a residence on West Scott Road in Homer.

An investigation revealed that the suspects had forced entry into a single-family home, which was unoccupied at the time, and stolen several valuable items.

On July 5, authorities arrested Artis L. Young, 24, of South Avenue, and Daryl B. Eaton, 25, of Main Street. Both were charged with three felony counts of burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief, as well as one misdemeanor conspiracy charge.
