Drug investigation leads to arrest

Narrative: After an approximately 3-month drug investigation by the Cortland County Drug Task Force, Bradley J. Maclean was arrested on a sealed indictment handed up by the Cortland County Supreme Court for 1 count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. Maclean was arrested while being held in custody at the Cortland County Correctional Facility on an unrelated manner. He was arraigned in Cortland County Court and taken to the jail on $5,000 cash bail. He is due back in Cortland County Court on Oct. 2.

Narrative: On Sept. 23, 2017, at about 4:40 p.m., Tompkins County sheriff's deputies responded to the Tops Store located at 2300 North Triphammer Road in the Village of Lansing for a larceny complaint. An employee observed a male and female conceal items from the store and all pass points of sale without paying for the items. The suspects were identified as Summer E. Fumia, 36, of Moravia, and Daniel F. Fumia, 42, also of Moravia. They were charged with petit larceny and released on appearance tickets.
