The following individuals were arrested by local law enforcement agencies:

Man accused of DWI, fleeing a police officer

Name: Tanner T. Caughey, 37, of Cortland
Charges: Fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree (misdemeanor); obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree (misdemeanor); crossing road hazards marking (violation); two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree (misdemeanor); two counts of moving from lane unsafely (violation); driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor); failure to obey a police officer (violation)
Date Arrested: Nov. 24, 2018
Details: A city police officer attempted to stop Caughey from crossing road hazard markings. Police also learned that Caughey was involved in an accident on East River Road. He was sent to jail on $250 cash bail to appear Dec. 5, 2018.

Karate instructor charged with assault

Name: Petr A. Korolov, 38, of Corning
Charges: Reckless assault (misdemeanor); endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor)
Date Arrested: Unknown
Details: While acting as a karate instructor on Tompkins Street, Korolov broke the wrist of a female under the age of 16, city police said. He was released to appear on Dec. 7, 2018.

Driver, passenger arrested after traffic stop

Names: Christopher E. Enright, 22, of McDonough; Ashley M. Allen, 22, of Cortland
Charges: FULBRIGHT - Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (misdemeanor); conspiracy in the second degree (misdemeanor); aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree (misdemeanor). ALLEN - Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (misdemeanor); conspiracy in the second degree (misdemeanor)
Date Arrested: Nov. 25, 2018
Details: At around 9:47 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 13 in the town of Cortlandville. The driver, Christopher E. Enright, was found to be driving with a suspended driver's license. He was also wanted by the City of Cortland Police Department on an active bench warrant for failure to pay a fine. He was taken into custody by officers when he and Ashley M. Allen were found to be in possession of narcotics. Allen was released on appearance tickets. Enright was jailed on $300 cash bail.

Baldwinsville man possessed cannabis vape oil, deputies say

Name: Michael G. Forbes, 19, of Baldwinsville
Charges: Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (misdemeanor); speed in zone (infraction)
Date Arrested: Nov. 25, 2018
Details: At around 11:35 p.m., sheriff's deputies stopped Forbes for speeding on Route 281 in the town of Cortlandville. After further investigation, Forbes was found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis vape oil. He was released on appearance tickets.

Brothers arrested following arrest warrant

Names: Ronald M. Dingman, 37, of Cincinnatus; Cody E. Dingman, 28, of Willet
Charges: DINGMAN, RONALD - Endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor); Aggravated harassment in the second degree (misdemeanor). DINGMAN, CODY - Obstructing governmental administration in the second degree (misdemeanor)
Date Arrested: Nov. 21, 2018
Details: At around 7:30 p.m., sheriff's deputies were serving an arrest warrant at 5738 Telephone Road Ext. in the town of Cincinnatus for 37-year-old Ronald Dingman. A struggle ensued, and Ronald's brother, Cody Dingman, began interfering with officers in an attempt to assist Ronald in breaking free from officers. Both were taken into custody without further incident.

Pennsylvania man arrested on slew of charges

Name: Andre N. Miller, 29, of Pottstown, Penn.
Charges: Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (felony); criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (misdemeanor); obstructing governmental administration in the second degree (misdemeanor); resisting arrest (misdemeanor); unlawful possession of marihuana (violation); false personation (misdemeanor); aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree (misdemeanor)
Date Arrested: Nov. 22, 2018
Details: At around 6:03 a.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 81 in the town of Preble for speeding. Officers learned through an investigation that the driver had given a false name. He was also in possession of 1.5 ounces of cocaine and a small amount of heroin. Officers also learned that he was a fugitive from justice out of the state of Pennsylvania. He was arraigned in Preble Town Court and held without bail.

Cortland woman accused of shoplifting at Walmart

Name: Julie A. Milton, 33, of Cortland
Charges: Petit larceny (misdemeanor)
Date Arrested: Nov. 24, 2018
Details: Milton was observed stealing merchandise from Walmart in Cortlandville on Nov. 23, 2018. She was released on an appearance tickets.

Lisle man accused of shoplifting at Kinney Drugs

Name: Chad W. Vandee, 37, of Lisle, N.Y.
Charges: Petit larceny (misdemeanor)
Date Arrested: Nov. 25, 2018
Details: At around 5 p.m., sheriff's deputies responded to Kinney Drugs on Route 281 in Cortlandville for a shoplifting complaint. Vandee was arrested for allegedly stealing $49.99 worth of merchandise. He turned himself in to the sheriff's office the following day.

Deerfield woman charged with Leandra's Law DWI

Name: Justine R. Benoit, of Deerfield
Charges: Driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor); aggravated DWI .18 or higher (misdemeanor); DWI Leandra's Law (felony); Endangering the welfare of a child (two counts) (misdemeanors)
Date Arrested: Nov. 23, 2018
Details: Officers responded to a one-car crash at the Sunoco gas station at 2964 Route 13 in Cortlandville. Benoit was attempting to turn into the parking lot when she failed to negotiate the turn and struck an embankment. She was found to be intoxicated and charged under Leandra's Law for having two children as passengers. No injuries were reported.
