Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, July 19

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a partly sunny day, with extremely high temperatures, reaching a high near 91 degrees.

Heat index will also reach a high around 100 degrees during the day.

It will then start to get cloudy in the afternoon, with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation. Mainly after 1 p.m.

Temperatures will then start to cool off as we enter evening hours. They will drop to as low as 72 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast, along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 92 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then drop to around 70 degrees at night.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with there still however being a 50 percent chance of showers during the day. Temperatures will then reach a high around 84 degrees by the afternoon and drop to about 62 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 78 degrees during the day and decrease to around 56 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 75 degrees. It will then start to get cloudy at night, with temperatures decreasing to around 54 degrees.

Wednesday: Sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 77 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then drop to around 57 degrees late in the evening.
