The Cortland County Area Agency on Aging is hosting a presentation for people who are approaching Medicare eligibility - to review the costs, coverage and options a person has once they have Medicare.
If you are going to be turning 65 or have been collecting Social Security Disability for two years, this will offer education on choices you need to think about or make, once Medicare coverage starts.
The agency’s certified HIICAP (Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program) counselors will provide information and be able to answer questions on this topic.
This presentation will be on August 14 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the County Office Building, Room 302. There will be no charge for this seminar, but registration will be appreciated by calling 753-5060.
