Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, August 30

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly sunny day with there still being a slight 30 percent chance of showers mid afternoon.

Temperatures will increase to a high of around 75 degrees during the day.

There will also be southeast winds of up to 11 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will finally begin to drop at night to a near 49 degrees.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high near 69 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then decrease to around 48 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Chances of showers will then decrease to around 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will increase to a high near 69 degrees during the day and drop to around 54 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly sunny, with there however still being a slight 30 percent chance of showers during the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 73 degrees in the afternoon and decrease to around 54 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with temperatures reaching a high of around 78 degrees during the day. It will then begin to get partly cloudy in the evening with there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will finally decrease to a near 60 degrees at night.
