Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, October 3

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a mostly cloudy day with there being a 70 percent chance of scattered rain showers throughout the day.

Along with these rain showers, there will also be southeast winds from a range of seven to eleven miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will increase to a high near 53 degrees during the day and will slowly begin to drop in the evening until reaching a low of around 44 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Friday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 54 degrees during the day and drop to a near 35 degrees at night.

Saturday: It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures only increasing to a high of around 56 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, as temperatures start to decrease to a near 38 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation during the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 59 degrees in the afternoon and will begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low near 44 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy with there being a 50 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Chances of showers will then decrease to around 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will reach a high of around 60 degrees during the day and drop to a near 43 degrees at night.
