Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, November 1

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 43 degrees in the afternoon.

There will however be a 30 percent chance of scattered showers during the day.

There will also be powerful west winds from a range of 20 to 28 miles per hour along with wind gusts as high as 49 miles per hour throughout the day.

Finally, temperatures will then begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low of around 29 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to a near 46 degrees during the day. It will then begin to get cloudy in the evening with temperatures decreasing to around 28 degrees at night.

Sunday: It will be a partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a near 43 degrees during the day. It will then start to get cloudy at night along with temperatures dropping to around 43 degrees.

Monday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 47 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then begin to drop to around 32 degrees as clouds begin to close in.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures increasing to a high of around 53 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to get cloudy in the evening with there being a 40 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will then drop to a near 36 degrees at night.
