Low pressure will stall out just north of western New York today, resulting in a showery, cool day.

Rain showers will be with us throughout the day. It may stop raining here and there, but even then, it will still be cloudy and drizzly.

Fog will also be possible, especially over higher elevations.

Showers will continue into the evening and may even mix with some snow.

Temperatures will rise into the mid or perhaps upper 40s. Evening temperatures will then fall back to around 40 or into the upper 30s.

Winds will turn from the southwest early in the morning to the west, and then northwest. Wind speeds will be 5-10 mph with top gusts around 25 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers, especially through the morning. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Wednesday: Morning clouds giving way to some sunshine. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs near 50.

Friday: Clouds with some breaks of sun. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.
