The low pressure system that made for a rainy Sunday will continue to keep our weather dreary and cool today.

Precipitation will fall most of the day before finally tapering off and ending late this afternoon. The precipitation will be much lighter than it was yesterday, though.

Any snow will turn over to rain rather quickly this morning. Temperatures will top out in the low 40s.

North winds will blow between 10-15 mph throughout the day with gusts between 25-30 mph.

Evening temperatures will fall back into the 30s as dry air wraps into the region and skies clear.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny until a few late clouds. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon lows in the mid 50s.

Wednesday: Increasing clouds. A few late showers. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Thursday: Periods of rain. Windy, especially early. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs low 50s.
