Low pressure will pull away from the region today, taking our weather from showery back to sunny.

Rain showers will continue to be scattered about the region this morning but will become less common by midday. After one or two lingering sprinkles early this afternoon, the rain will come to an end.

The afternoon will then go from cloudy to sunny as high pressure noses in. By the evening, clear skies are likely, which should last through the night.

Winds will blow from the east, then southeast, at around 5 mph. Top gusts will reach 20 mph.

High temperatures will reach into the low 70s. If the sun comes out quicker, mid 70s could be possible. Evening temperatures will slowly fall back through the 50s.
