Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, June 12

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Friday, June 12, 2020:

Another pleasant, comfortable day is ahead as high pressure keeps our weather quiet.

After clear skies early this morning, some fair-weather clouds will start to bubble up. These will be with us through the late morning and much of the afternoon.

There is a very small chance that one or two of these clouds will grow large enough for a brief, light shower. Most areas will stay dry, and those that do see rain will not be impacted much by it.

Skies will turn clear again this evening and remain as such through the night.

Temperatures will continue their retreat with highs only making it to around 70 degrees. Evening temperatures will quickly fall through the 50s.

Winds will be from the northwest at around 10 mph. Top gusts on the day will be 25-30 mph during the late morning and early afternoon.

Here is a look at the weather for the next several days:

Saturday: Clouds and some sun. Possibly some rain showers late. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Monday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Tuesday: Sunshine filtered through some thin clouds. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
