Yesterday, we spoke with SUNY Cortland Associate Professor Christa Chatfield, as she expressed her concerns about SUNY Cortland's reopening plan this Fall.

Professor Chatfield teaches Microbiology at the college, and is involved in a group of concerned faculty /staff regarding the college's reopening plan. To address their concerns, the group of  wrote an open letter directed towards the SUNY Cortland community, students, staff, and faculty.

According to Professor Chatfield, "SUNY Cortland has no widespread molecular testing program for COVID-19 cases, and only plan self-screening which is not likely to be reliable."
