This is a press release from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
On August 23rd, 2020 at approximately 1:23 am, Officer’s from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were patrolling the area of Route 13 and Young’s Crossing Road in the Town of Truxton and conducted a traffic stop for a lane violation.
Through the investigation, it was found the defendant was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and had a previous Driving While Intoxicated conviction within the last ten years.
The defendant was arrested and transported to the Public Safety Building for processing. He was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Town of Truxton Court on September 9th, 2020 at 4:00 pm for arraignment.
