January will come to an end on a quiet, sunny note thanks to high pressure today.
After a few scattered clouds this morning, much of the day will have mostly clear skies. Bright sunshine through the day will lead into a starlit night.
Winds will be lightly from the south with speeds near or under 5 mph. Late in the day and tonight, the wind direction will turn to the southeast and increase to 5-10 mph.
Despite another cold start to the day, the sun and slight southerly flow will help temperatures reach the mid 20s this afternoon.
Temperatures will quickly fall through the 10s this evening and into the mid and upper single digits overnight.

Thursday: Snow likely. Temperatures steady in the mid 20s.
Friday: A few early snow showers. Then some sun. Morning lows near 0. Afternoon highs in the low 10s.
