Cortland County COVID-19 Wrap-Up for Tuesday, Feb. 1

Here is a breakdown of COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County from the week of Jan. 24-30 and Monday, Jan. 31. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department.

Since Jan. 24, there have been 11,828 total positive cases, 555 total hospitalizations and 106 deaths in the county. According to the county as of Jan. 30, the daily average of positive tests amongst county residents is 19.1%.

According to the county health department’s COVID-19 update for the week of Jan. 24-30, there were 561 positive cases and 24 hospital admissions.

As of Jan. 31, the percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 58%, with 61.2% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 52.5% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
