Varsity Wrestling: Cortland vs. East Syracuse-Minoa (ESM)

The Cortland Purple Tigers defeated East Syracuse-Minoa (ESM) 38-30 Monday night.

Varsity Boys Basketball: Cincinnatus vs. Madison

The Cincinnatus Lions defeated Madison 44-41 Monday night in order to improve to an 11-1 overall record. Cincinnatus has been ranked #7 in the state for Class D since January 25th. 

The Lions were led by John Schuyler (13 points), Cason Stafford (13 points), and Tyler Liddle (10 points). 

Madison was led by Ethan Rivers (20 points), Haydon Dumas (8 points), and Anthony Dodge (8 points). 

Up next, Cincinnatus will take on DeRuyter on the road this Thursday (February 3rd) at 7pm. 

Varsity Boys Basketball: McGraw vs. Onondaga

The McGraw Eagles defeated Onondaga 56-46 Monday night. 

With this win, the Eagles improved their record to 5-8. 

The Eagles were led by Quintin Burdick (23 points) and Nick Sutton (11 points). 

Onondaga was led by Gabron Polk (17 points) and Nick Toomey (11 points)

McGraw’s next game is scheduled to be played on the road against Brookfield this Thursday (February 3rd) at 7pm. 

Varsity Girls Basketball: Cincinnatus vs. Fabius-Pompey (F-P)

The Cincinnatus Lady Lions lost 22-47 against Fabius Pompey. 

With this loss, Cincinnatus has fallen to a 5-11 record. 

Cincinnatus was led by Carissa Schuyler (9 points) and Cortney Scutt (5 points). 

Fabius Pompey was led by Miranda Putnam (14 points), Jamie Ratliff (12 points), and Carlena Wallace (10 points). 

Cincinnatus’ next game will be against McGraw on the road this Wednesday (February 2nd) at 6pm. 

Varsity Girls Basketball: McGraw vs. Otselic Valley

The McGraw Lady Eagles lost a close game to Otselic Valley with a score of 37-44. 

The Eagles were led by Lexi McCall (10 points) and Hannah Wilson (9 points). 

Otselic Valley was led by Emily Miller (22 points) and Tori Foster (16 points). 

With this loss, McGraw now holds a 2-8 overall record. 

Up next, the Eagles will host Cincinnatus on Wednesday (February 2nd) at 6pm.
