Here is a breakdown of COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County from over the weekend. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health.

As of Feb. 13, there have been 12,366 total positive cases, 583 total hospitalizations and 111 deaths in the county. According to the state’s COVID-19 tracker, the 7-day average for percentage who test positive and cases per 100K is 6.4% and 41.5%.
According to the county health department’s COVID-19 update for the week of Feb. 7-13, there were 220 positive cases and over 10 hospital admissions.
As of Feb. 13, the percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 58.4%, with 61.7% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 54.1% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
