A word from the players:

"I think that we came into it prepared," said  Tillotson. Tillotson continued, "we pulled ahead in the first quarter, and never really let go of that lead".

This was also Brooke Tillotson’s first game back from injury. She missed the past two games, but returned in time to join her team's quest for a title.

When Ensign was asked about how she felt the team looked, she responded, “I feel that tonight was a push towards sectionals.”

Oram spoke with us about being a first-year player and what it's been like for her this year. She told us, "it was a huge step up, because I didn't play on JV at all. I went from modified to varsity."

A word from Coach Pierce:

“Wow!!!” was Marathon Head Coach Andrew Pierce’s reaction after the game.  Pierce continued, “transition was the key. Open shots were the key. The girls executed and they were amazing tonight.”
