Cortland Weather Outlook: Monday, March 14

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Monday, March 14, 2022:

A more spring-like weather pattern will unfold across the area this week beginning with much warmer temperatures today.

Southwest winds will blow throughout the day. Wind speeds will vary, but will generally be near or just over 5 mph. Top gusts will be just over 20 mph.

Sunshine will be plentiful this morning. However, some clouds will work in for the afternoon, making it more cloudy than sunny.

No precipitation is expected from any of these clouds, though.

Even with the clouds, temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.

Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy through the night. Again, though, no precipitation is expected.

Evening temperatures will drop to near 40 degrees and overnight temperatures will fall into the low 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next several days:

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. A few rain showers, especially in the afternoon. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Wednesday: Some morning clouds. Afternoon sun. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Thursday: Sun and thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs near 60.

Friday: Morning sun. Increasing clouds. Some late rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
