High pressure will take control of the weather today, resulting in some pleasant weather.

Sunshine will be plentiful throughout the day, mixing with fair weather clouds that bubble up this morning and persist into the afternoon.

These clouds should remain small and will not produce precipitation.

A light northwest wind will develop with speeds around 5 mph. Top gusts on the day should be under 20 mph.

Temperatures will be warm, but not too hot. Look for an afternoon high around 80 degrees. Dewpoints will be comfortably low in the 50s.

Skies will clear this evening as the daytime heating is lost and the fair weather clouds quickly dissipate. Winds will be nearly calm, with just a gentle whisper of a breeze turning to the south after midnight.

Evening temperatures will drop steadily through the 60s with an overnight low in the mid 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Late day showers and storms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs near 90.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Cooler. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
