A small impulse of atmospheric energy will move through the region today.

For the most part, this disturbance will not make its presence known. Skies will start sunny this morning before fair weather clouds begin to bubble up.

These clouds will grow as the disturbance swings in. A few of the clouds may touch off an isolated, light rain shower. A couple rumbles of thunder may even be possible.

However, for the vast majority of the county, it will remain dry today.

A light northwest wind will blow much of the day, turning more northerly late in the afternoon as the disturbance passes by. Wind speeds will be around or under 5 mph with top gusts around 15 mph.

Temperatures will be close to the seasonal averages with highs around 80 degrees. Dewpoints will be comfortably in the 50s.

Tonight, skies will remain mixed. Another disturbance will pass through after midnight, again triggering a few isolated sprinkles.

Overnight temperatures will drop to the upper 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Maybe an afternoon shower or storm. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.
