High pressure will continue to dominate the weather today with quiet conditions.

Sunshine will be plentiful today. A few fair weather clouds will bubble up in the daytime heating, and later in the afternoon, some thin cirrus clouds may join in.

With the center of the high still to the west, winds will be from the north once again today. Wind speeds will be lighter than yesterday, coming in near or just over 5 mph. Top gusts on the day will be around 15 mph.

Temperatures will remain cooler than we are used to, but not far off the daily averages. Low 70s are expected in the hills across the northern half of the county, with mid 70s further south.

The atmosphere will remain very dry with dewpoints down into the 40s.

Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly clear overnight, mainly with more thin cirrus clouds. Evening temperatures will fall into the 50s with overnight lows in the low 50s. A few pockets of upper 40s are not out of the question.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Increasing clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Monday: Clouds, some sun, and a few showers. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Possibly some showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
